What We Do
The Ethics Bowl is a collaborative, discussion-based competition—not a “winner-take-all” debate. Teams analyze real-world ethical cases and practice reasoning, perspective-taking, and respectful dialogue.
As a team member, you will:
Read and analyze case studies from the National High School Ethics Bowl
Meet regularly to practice critical thinking, clear communication, and teamwork
Develop well-organized arguments and responses
Compete against other schools in a supportive, discussion-based format
What’s in it for you
Stronger communication: Speak clearly and think on your feet
Real-world relevance: Ethics of AI, medicine, climate, justice, and more
Team experience (not combat): Build ideas together, practice civility
Stand out academically: Leadership + ethics look great on applications
Find your people: A close-knit squad that has your back
Time & Commitment
Meetings: Once a week during Links (specific day TBD)
Outside prep: Yes—reading cases and practicing responses
